About Leo & Aliyah

We are a multi-generational family company of farmers and artisans celebrating the sacred espousal between the work of our hands and the land, a bond that transcends time and generations.

Our journey begins with the indelible imprint of our ancestral roots.  It traces back to our maternal great grandfather, Immanuel Rodriguez, who ventured from Spain to Puerto Rico late in the 19th century, carrying with him not just his dreams, but also a deep reverence for family and its sacred role in the natural world.  On this foreign soil, as Immanuel tenderly nurtured the crops that fed his family, he instilled in his offspring a profound understanding of the interconnections between mankind and the environment, emphasizing the vital role we play in its continual creation.

Regenerative agriculture is a comprehensive approach to farming that focuses on revitalizing and improving the health of ecosystems, while simultaneously increasing the efficiency and resilience of agricultural systems.

This strategy involves implementing techniques like reduced tillage, cover cropping, crop rotation, and the utilization of organic materials to foster soil health, capture carbon, and boost biodiversity. Furthermore, regenerative agriculture underscores the significance of harmonizing with nature rather than opposing it, with the goal of establishing farming practices that are self-sustaining and regenerative in the long term.

Ultimately, regenerative agriculture not only supports the economic prosperity of farmers and rural communities, but also ensures the production of nutritious and safe food for consumers.
